Now in its 4th year, eeSURG is the distance learning website for the Edinburgh Surgical Sciences Qualification (ESSQ), run by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (RCSEd) in collaboration with Learning Technology Section. The course is delivered purely online, through innovative use of learning tools developed by LTS. Course material is explored by students in interactive cases developed in Labyrinth, and reinforced in online discussion boards manned by an experienced team of surgeon tutors.
Fully accredited, the course can lead to a Certificate, Diploma or MSc in Surgical Sciences, for 1, 2 and 3 year duration respectively.
