LTS IT Services are currently involved in specifying the computer equipment to be installed in all of the teaching rooms within the new Easter Bush Veterinary School building. On completion, the building will incorporate the following facilities:
- 1 Seminar Room
- 7 Tutorial Rooms
- 2 Lecture Theatres
- 2 Student Teaching Computer Labs (78 PCs)
- 1 Study Landscape (Drop in computer lab area with 25 PCs)
- 6 Study Rooms
- 1 Clinical Skills Lab
- 1 Board Room
- 1 Café area (5 Kiosk mode PCs)
The new building will open in 2 phases. The first phase will open in April 2011 with the following facilities available:
- 1 Seminar Room
- 7 Tutorial Rooms
- 2 Lecture Theatres
- 1 Student Teaching Computer Lab (30 PCs)
- 5 Study Rooms
- 1 Board Room
The second phase will open in August 2011, at which point the remaining facilities will be available.
