Personal Response System (PRS)

This system, also known as ʻclickersʼ, is a hand-held electronic voting system for use during lectures. It enables the lecturer to ask questions and to get immediate feedback from the class.

Use of this can bring benefits to teaching for example, by enabling the teacher to gauge the level of understanding the class has of the topic being taught. If required, feedback may be anonymous.

With a bit of planning and practice, the clickers can be linked into powerpoint, and question results be projected graphically on the screen.

Clickers at avaiable at the Little France and Easter Bush campuses.

For help getting started with this please ask a computer officer to show you.
