Building Brains: An Introduction to Neural Development

Posted on: 03-31-2011 Posted in: Graphics Lab News, LTS Feature

This newly published book, featuring illustrations by Graphics Lab, is aimed at undergraduate students and postgraduates new to the field of neuroscience.
Authored by David Price, Andrew Jarman, John Mason and Peter Kind from the Centre for Integrative Physiology, the book is a highly visual and readily accessible introduction to the main events that occur during neural development and the mechanisms by which they occur. The detailed, full colour illustrations help reinforce the important concepts conveyed by the text.
