Peter Eland (31st Jan 1981 – 10th July 2011)
It was with great sadness that we at LTS heard of the untimely death of one of our work colleagues Peter Eland in a motorcycle accident. Peter had been with us since October 2009 and was a highly popular member of the team. A hard-working and immensely talented computer programmer Peter was instrumental in leading some of our high profile projects.
He was innovative and creative and his work always exceeded expectations in terms of both design and function. He was excellent at turning ideas into solutions and was able to do this with minimum fuss and in a very short time period.
He was calm in his manner, quiet and courteous and he always had a smile. His work was highly thought of, by both his work colleagues and the many academics and clinicians he worked with, and he was personally very well liked and respected by all who had the pleasure of working with him. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues.
