The CRFR project arose from the need of CRFR to update their existing website which was a collection of static HTML webpages. With no in-house website developer they were keen for a solution that they would be able to manage with minimal support and additional development.

A WordPress solution was an ideal fit as they had already explored approaches using wordpress.com solutions but were unhappy with the lack of customisation available to create a new brand identity for the Centre.

LTS have designed a customised WordPress theme with a number of templates that offer the flexibility that has been requested by CRFR. This includes the ability to have contextual elements based on content categories. The day-to-day management can be handled by the CRFR team using the available tools in WordPress, the more complex support of the site is managed by LTS with any new ideas for the site being investigated on a case by case basis.

The new Centre for Research on Families and Relationships (CRFR) WordPress site developed by LTS is now live. The new site provides CRFR with a modern redesign while giving them more power to manage the different areas of the site for themselves.
